Why should I donate?
Your donation of any size immediately supports our primary goals: ● Purchase a sailing vessel for Ocean’s Dream ● Refit the sailing vessel to accommodate long ocean passages, scientific endeavors, and passengers ● Raise non-profit organization start-up funds to support marine surveyor, attorney, and accountant fees ● Fund initial efforts to engage with the local communities to establish community-based science projects Long-term and larger donations will: ● Fund maintenance and up-keep of the sailing vessel ● Fund internship opportunities for locals to participate in community-based science and sailing programs |

How will my contribution impact Ocean's Dream?
Sailing voyages have a way of impacting people in profound ways. Inspiration. Community. Confidence. Resilience. Collaboration. Awe. What do you remember most? What would you hope to gain?
Our passion is to provide these types of sailing experiences to adventurers of all ages. We know the benefits of experiential learning with a connection to a community. We can provide safety-conscious, small-group travel. And we can't think of a better way to re-engage with the world around us.
Ocean's Dream provides curated sailing voyages to help people connect with the ocean environment and with each other. We specialize in place-based sailing opportunities. These foundational experiences are both an adventure and educational, with themes of leadership, marine science, maritime cultures, and sail training woven through every trip.
But first - we need a boat! We have other non-profit organizations, schools, and individuals excited to partner with us and facilitate life-changing programs. While we recognize the large sum required for this type of purchase, we believe our own vessel the essential component for which to fundraise at this time. Once we have a platform for our programs, we will truly be able to get Ocean's Dream underway and support the next generation of ocean stewards.
Please consider donating today to help us work towards purchasing a vessel to run our programs. Your $50 donation will provide security at anchor with a length of heavy chain. Your $200 donation will fund a portion of our mains'l that will propel our vessel on open-water crossings. Ocean's Dream is value-based and purpose-driven organization made possible by your contributions! We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so our donations are tax-deductible.
