UPDATE - Ocean's Dream current position
Hello friends!
I sit, writing to you from a quaint “shed” located high up on the hill on the Isle of Eigg, Scotland. All is quiet and the sea is calm, both being two unfamiliar occurrences for many months! The wind is normally always blowing here. The sea state ordinarily consists of whitecaps and the sound of lambs baaing for their mothers is regularly heard nearby. But now, as I write, all is calm and quiet, waiting…
Five months have passed since our last newsletter was sent out. Within these five months, I personally have experienced many changes and in connection, so has Ocean’s Dream. What is important to me and how I live my life is the act of balance, love and awareness. My vision is to empower people to cultivate strong relationships between Nature, Community and Self. At this time in my life, the wisest choice appears to be taking some time off to evaluate the state of the world. The Board and I have agreed to take 1- 2 years off, and “heave to” if you will, or push the pause button and remain vigilant in these rapidly changing conditions. Life is our curriculum. We want to stay open to the endless possibilities and do what is right with the organization and with all of the donations that so many of you have generously contributed.
If anyone has questions or concerns please email us: [email protected]
We are grateful for your support and encouragement.
Best,
Megan Frey
